Since 1782 the Teeling family have been crafting Irish whiskey. The Teelings are renowned for their vision in doing things differently and their whiskeys embody this entrepreneurial spirit. 2015 marked the year a new generation of Teelings returned to their distilling roots in the Liberties area of Dublin City. The Brabazon Bottling Series is a limited edition collection of unique Irish Single Malts capturing the full impact and flavour crafted through fortified wine cask maturation.
Series No. 1 focuses on sherry cask maturation and consists of a range of carefully selected sherry cask aged whiskeys producing a full flavoured sherry influenced Irish Single Malt. This bottling consists of a vatting of 6 different sherry casks, carefully chosen for their complementary character .
The Brabazon Bottling Series 1 is bottled at 49.5% with no chill filtration allowing for all the natural flavours of this whiskey to be retained. Limited to just 12,500 bottles this is a whiskey to savour.
William Brabazon, the 3rd Earl of Meath, presided over Newmarket in its formative years, growing it from the fledgling trading square he first established, to the bustling industrial heart of the Liberties - until it was hushed once again as the first golden era of Dublin Whiskey came to a close. This limited edition series represents the unique character and spirit of innovation that lives on around every crooked corner and cobbled alley of Dublin’s historic Liberties – as the next golden era of Dublin Whiskey begins once again in Newmarket.

Jack Ryan Single Malt is a continuation of the brand Ryan’s Single Malt which originated in 1913 when Thomas Ryan of the Beggars
Bush, Haddington Road, Dublin acquired the best aged premium bourbon cask matured single malt available, usually from the Dublin Whiskey
Distillery, some of which he further finished in first use Sherry or Port casks, giving him a number of products which he sold in his chain of
pubs in Dublin.
This tradition was continued by his son Jack Ryan up to the early 1950’s when recession and Distillery closures curtailed his activities.
Jack’s son Eunan Ryan is now carrying on the old tradition by reintroducing a Ryan’s Malt, this time branded 'Jack Ryan Single Malt' which was
first introduced in 2013 as a premium 12 year old bourbon cask matured single malt, and won the “best single malt” in the ‘12 years and less’
category at the Irish Whiskey Awards in October 2014.
Nose: Intense tropical fruit aromas of passionfruit, pineapple, lemon and orange peel with a touch on cinnamon and ginger.
Palate: Smooth and oily textured. Even at the full 46% it is soft and easy to drink. Flavours of fresh pineapple, lemon, oranges, marmalade and ginger snap with some honey and oak.
Finish: Becomes more malty and biscuity with the oak flavours also shining through.
Colour: Bright gold.

'My father was a bartender who worked for over 50 years in bars around Belfast.
Sometimes he would bring me into work with him and so I grew up loving the sounds and smells of the bar, the craic, the laughter and the smell of the beer and the whiskey. Especially the whiskey.
Now that I am making my own whiskey I am naming it after my father.
In 50 years as a bartender he saw a lot of things and heard a lot of stories, but like all good bartenders, he was true to his code and told no tales.
My father, John Mulgrew, ‘The Quiet Man’ or as they say in the Irish ‘An Fear Ciuin’.'
