The Waipara Valley is a premium wine producing region that benefits from a cool climate, very similar to Marlborough. Soils of clay loam and alluvial and glacial gravels combine with the climate to make the perfect terroir for growing Sauvignon Blanc.
The wine was fermented at carefully controlled temperatures (15-18°c) in stainless steel with extended lees contact. In order to preserve its crisp, fresh fruit flavours there was no oak ageing.

Sauvignon Blanc 100%
A classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from the Waipara Valley on the country’s South Island.
The name ‘Whistling Track’ is inspired by the region’s stunning scenery, fame for hiking and the whistling of bird calls, and reflects the elegance of the wine.
Its colour is pale straw, with green hues and the aromas are fruit driven with gooseberry, passionfruit and citrus.
These flavours become more intense on the palate, supported by crisp acidity and a lasting finish.
