Based in Randalstown, County Antrim, Hillstown Brewery is an honest, small-scale microbrewery that produces handcrafted, unique beer direct from the farm. Recently re-branded, Hillstown source ingredients from all around the globe for their exciting range of beers. Producing batches of incredibly flavoursome beers, award-winning Hillstown Brewery wants people to enjoy their beers for the taste, and strive to consistently make the best beer they can. Their Spitting Llama Belgian Ale was awarded gold at the Beoir Beer Festival 2015 and more recently The Goat’s Butt Wheat Beer received Gold at the 2017 festival.
Starting with an unusual introduction to the world of craft brewing, with the intention to brew beer to feed cattle in order to produce Wagyu beef, such was demand for their beer that Hillstown now make the finest craft beer for humans too!
The Spitting Llama (7.0% abv)
A Belgian Triple which is a strong, golden and aromatic Belgian style ale combined with complex spices and a mild fruit presence. Our Norn Irish version of the strong golden ales enjoyed in Belgium. It’s 7.0% so show it some respect!
Food Pairing: Herby dishes, Wild game, Rich Beefy foods like short ribs, beef cheeks, Ox Tail, Sausages.

The Goat’s Butt (5.3% abv)
A hefeweizen wheat beer packed with spice, fruit and banana, and a refreshing citrus finish.
Food Pairing: Mexican food, Thai, Indian, Mediterranean food, Pork dishes e.g. roasts, hams, sausages.

The Squealing Pig IPA (4.5% abv)
A sessionable IPA brewed with the finest malt and hops. A low abv, sessionable ale that is packed with hop flavour and aroma, expect it to be fruity, citrus combined with a little pine.
Massey Red Ale (5.0% abv)
A traditional Irish Red Ale with a focus on the malt, expect chocolate and caramel with a little hop profile. Provides the perfect introduction to craft beer.
Food Pairing: Shell Fish, Smoked Salmon, Gravlax, Goats Cheese, Lobster, Shrimp
The Horny Bull Stout (7.0% abv)
A strong full bodied Stout, liquorice, chocolate and coffee notes. Initially designed for the project ‘NI Wagyu Beef’. Exceptional depth and delicious roasted flavours with a fruity hop presence. A 7% stout, the way a craft should be, full bodied!
Food Pairing: Oysters, Scallops, Crab/Lobster, Steaks, Burgers, Stews
Henrietta the Hen West Coast IPA (4.7% abv)
Simply a beautiful west coast IPA, light bodied and packed with fruity hops from America.
Available in a 500ml bottle and 330ml can.
The Drunken Donkey (4.1% abv)
An Irish Craft Lager. A malt focused lager brewed using the finest Irish Malting Barley from Cork, we used a fruity hop to add a mellow fruit flavour, well rounded, clean crisp and refreshing. This lager has good mouthfeel and is full bodied.
