A Look Back at Our 2026 Drinks Inc. Portfolio Tasting at the Grand Opera House

In February, we were thrilled to welcome more than 150 members of the licensed trade to the iconic Grand Opera House in Belfast for our annual Drinks Inc. Portfolio Tasting, and what an unforgettable day it turned out to be.

Set in one of the city's most beautiful venues, guests had the chance to explore a hand‑picked selection of new and exclusive wines from our portfolio, along with an exciting expansion into premium spirits and premixed cocktails for 2026. Seventeen producers from around the world joined us, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge, passion, and stories behind the bottles. As agents for renowned brands such as Mionetto, Santa Rita, Félix Solis, and the exclusive distributor of Lanson Champagne in Northern Ireland, it was a real pleasure to showcase such an exceptional line‑up.

One of the true highlights of the entire day was our exclusive Champagne Masterclass, hosted by award‑winning sommelier Julie Dupouy. Guests enjoyed a rare, intimate tasting featuring some of the world's most iconic Champagnes, including Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, and Moët & Chandon. It was a special experience that offered incredible insight and flavour, and it unquestionably stole the spotlight.

Throughout the afternoon, guests chatted with winemakers, tasted award‑winning wines and champagnes, and discovered what's new, and what's next, in our growing range. Our own team were on hand to guide the experience, while our colleagues at Musgrave MarketPlace NI added an extra touch with delicious Italicatessen charcuterie.

We were especially proud to shine a spotlight on local talent too, welcoming partners such as Dillon Bass, CKC and MacIvors, along with our charity partner Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke, a reminder of how important it is for us to support producers and organisations close to home.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, from long‑standing customers to new faces. Your enthusiasm and support are what make this event such a highlight in our calendar, and we're already looking forward to the next Portfolio Event.
